American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys recently announced the latest "Batman" action figure from its "DC Multiverse" line, based on the comic book "Batman: Year Two"! This release is a Target exclusive in the United States.
"Batman: Year Two," published in 1987, was written by Mike W. Barr and featured art by Todd McFarlane, Alan Davis, and others. It tells the story of Batman's confrontation with another Gotham City vigilante, the "Reaper." The biggest selling point of this new "Batman: Year Two" action figure is its ability to recreate the iconic, dynamic splash page from the comic, depicting Batman standing in a graveyard with his cape dramatically flowing! Collectors can also utilize the included fabric cape and interchangeable arm parts to pose him in various other incredibly cool stances.
▼ It's also worth noting that, in addition to the standard collector card, a special version featuring a card personally signed by Todd McFarlane will also be available!
▼ Finally, check out Todd McFarlane himself explaining this Batman figure.
