The American toy manufacturer Mezco Toyz has officially unveiled the latest addition to their 1/12 scale action figure line, "ONE:12 COLLECTIVE": the terrifying "Alien" from Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi horror masterpiece! This highly anticipated figure is slated for release in the first quarter of 2022.
Following their earlier, more stylized MDS series Q-figure of the Xenomorph, Mezco Toyz returns to the iconic extraterrestrial hunter with a hyper-realistic, fully articulated rendition. Standing at approximately 18 cm (7 inches) tall, this new "Alien" figure features a seamless body design, meticulously recreating the creature's intricate details while ensuring exceptional poseability. The Big Chap's smooth, translucent dome head is particularly striking. The figure comes packed with an impressive array of accessories, including three interchangeable inner jaw parts, two Facehuggers, a Chestburster, an alternate battle-damaged chest piece, multiple interchangeable hands, and two Alien Eggs (one open, one closed). The gradient paint application on the eggs is remarkably organic and truly stands out, enhancing their biological menace.
▼ The alternate chest piece allows collectors to recreate the iconic scene where the Alien is struck by the "ASSO-400 Harpoon Grappling Gun."
