Japanese collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, part of BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced the latest addition to its "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou" series: Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate from "Kamen Rider Decade." This highly anticipated figure, sculpted from the skeletal structure to capture the original hero's heroic physique and natural articulation, is slated for release in January 2022.
You might be wondering why a Kuuga figure is coming from "Kamen Rider Decade," a series that aired a decade later. The Rising Ultimate form did not appear in the original "Kamen Rider Kuuga" series. Instead, it is the strongest form achieved by Yusuke Onodera's Kuuga from "Kamen Rider Decade" in the movie "Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker." This transformation, powered by the Stone of Earth, grants him combat capabilities on par with the original Kuuga's Ultimate Form.
The S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate boasts more natural body proportions compared to previous S.H.Figuarts releases, expertly capturing the muscular physique of an action actor in the suit. The figure includes two interchangeable head parts, allowing collectors to display both the iconic red-eyed and the menacing black-eyed versions. Both the black suit and the distinctive gold armor are meticulously sculpted with realistic wrinkles and textures, giving fans the impression that they own the actual Rider from the show.
