Japanese figure manufacturer Megahouse has announced the latest addition to its "GGG (Gundam Girls Generation)" figure series, which brings female characters from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" franchise to life with exquisite sculpting. The new "Lalah Sune" figure is slated for a July 2022 release.
Lalah Sune possessed extraordinary Newtype abilities and a maturity far beyond her years. However, her early life was spent in a brothel until Char Aznable, captivated by her unique presence, bought her freedom. Filled with gratitude and affection for Char, who recognized her true self, she later joined the Newtype Lab to assist the Principality of Zeon. As a test pilot for Psycommu weapons, Lalah was forced into frontline combat, ultimately meeting a tragic end when she was shot down by Amuro Ray. Even after her physical demise, both Char and Amuro frequently sensed Lalah's spirit communicating with them, profoundly influencing their future destinies.
The "GGG Lalah Sune" figure stands approximately 23 cm tall, capturing her gentle smile and slender physique that even Char found enchanting. Her flowing robe is dynamically sculpted, evoking the elegance of a white swan, a symbol often associated with Lalah. The base incorporates the design of her mobile armor, the "Elmeth," combined with Newtype ability effects, immortalizing the moment her life ended.
