TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, is set to release new additions to its fixed-pose figure brand, Figuarts ZERO, based on Eiichiro Oda's "One Hundred Views of the Great Pirates" illustrations. This article brings you details on the Monkey D. Luffy figure (モンキー・D・ルフィ), slated for release in February 2022.

The "One Hundred Views of the Great Pirates" is a spectacular commemorative illustration drawn by Oda-sensei, featuring the top 50 characters from the first global "World Top 100" popularity poll for "One Piece" characters. This particular release features Luffy, who proudly ranked #1, alongside Chopper, who placed #16. Standing approximately 19 cm tall, Luffy is dynamically posed, recreating his powerful left punch imbued with Haki, as depicted in the "Great Pirate Hyakkei" illustration. His red shirt, light purple sash, black cloak, and chest scar are meticulously reproduced, and even the smoke swirling around his left arm is faithfully detailed!

Chopper's red and white Japanese-style armor is also intricately sculpted, with the gold accents featuring a brilliant metallic sheen! The base, themed with a pile of gold coins and treasure chests, is quite striking, and the official announcement even mentions a special WT100-themed coin hidden within the pile of money!

Luffy, Zoro, and Nami ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively in the WT100 poll. We're eager to see more characters from this series get the figure treatment!
