Following the release of the Black Panther Nendoroid, Good Smile Company is expanding its popular Nendoroid series, which boasts over a thousand figures, with the introduction of the villainous "Nendoroid Erik Killmonger" from Marvel's "Black Panther"! This highly anticipated action figure is priced at 8,000 JPY and is slated for a June 2022 release.
In the comic lore, Erik Killmonger, originally named N'Jadaka, was born in Wakanda and is Black Panther's cousin. His family was tragically exiled after his father was caught in the turmoil caused by arms dealer Ulysses Klaue in Wakanda, leading to his father's death. After leaving Wakanda, he adopted the name Erik Killmonger, harboring deep resentment towards King T'Challa, who had exiled his family. He vowed to return to Wakanda, seize the throne, and exact his revenge.
The "Nendoroid Erik Killmonger" action figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully capturing the dashing appearance of Black Panther's formidable adversary in adorable Q-version style. Both his standard attire and battle suit from the film are meticulously recreated, with the black and gold color scheme and exposed fangs giving him a truly menacing look! The figure comes with an intricately detailed "Golden Jaguar Suit" and an interchangeable "unmasked" head part featuring actor Michael B. Jordan's likeness. He is also armed with traditional Wakandan short spears and a sword in each hand, allowing fans to dynamically recreate iconic scenes from the movie!
