Following the release of the standard Imperialdramon, Bandai Spirits Hobby Division has officially announced the next entry in its Figure-rise Standard Amplified line: the "Imperialdramon Paladin Mode"! This highly anticipated kit is slated for a January 2022 release as a Premium Bandai exclusive.
In the lore of "Digimon Adventure 02," the Ancient Dragon Digimon Imperialdramon is the Ultimate form of Paildramon, the DNA Digivolved form of ExVeemon and Stingmon. Known as the Dragon Emperor who ruled the ancient Digital World, his base Dragon Mode possesses immense power but is difficult to control due to its wild nature. After gaining intelligence and mastering his power, Imperialdramon can mode-change into his true combat form, "Fighter Mode." When he wields the holy "Omega Blade," his heart of justice awakens, transforming him into the ultimate savior: "Imperialdramon Paladin Mode." Legend states that he prevented the great collapse of the Digital World and became the founder of the "Royal Knights."
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Imperialdramon Paladin Mode" is based on the previously released standard version, featuring a new color scheme molded in Paladin Mode's characteristic white and gold. The kit includes newly sculpted, massive white wings with a two-stage deployment mechanism. The blue stripes on the holy "Omega Blade" are recreated with molded parts, while jewel stickers and a PET sheet are provided for the gem and the inscriptions on the blade, respectively. The kit will also feature brand-new, full-color box art!
