Kotobukiya's "END OF HEROES" Line Debuts with 1/24 Scale Zombinoid Agony Action Figure

Japanese toy company Kotobukiya is launching a new line of palm-sized action figures called "END OF HEROES," with its first wave focusing on the familiar "zombie" theme from horror and sci-fi films. The initial releases include the 1/24 scale action figures "Zombinoid Bite" and "Zombinoid Agony." Each figure is priced at 2,310 JPY and is slated for release in March 2022.

The world of END OF HEROES is set in 20XX, after "The Great Redemption"—a cataclysmic event where the fires of sin consumed civilization and order, plunging the world into ruin. As if from a forgotten prophecy, the dead have awakened on Judgment Day. In this chaotic world where good and evil are inverted, saints become villains, hunters become bloodthirsty wolves, and mutated ghouls and zombies rise unchecked. This is the END OF HEROES...

The "Zombinoid Agony" 1/24 scale action figure from the END OF HEROES line stands approximately 75mm tall. It faithfully recreates the character's eerie, pale gray skin tone and vacant eyes, dressed in a plaid shirt and jeans (was he an engineer in life?). The figure boasts over 30 points of articulation, with a wide range of motion in the hips, chest, and shoulders, allowing for easy posing in classic zombie horror stances. In addition to the ball joint connecting the head, the neck also features an articulated axis for forward and backward movement, perfect for recreating crawling poses. Furthermore, a 3mm connection port on the back allows for integration with Kotobukiya's Hexa Gear and M.S.G. series, instantly transforming your display into a horror movie scene!

The figure includes interchangeable arm and leg parts to create even more grotesque severed limb poses. These can be combined with the gray blood puddle effect parts to evoke a gruesome, apocalyptic atmosphere!
