Following the release of the Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form / Gun Form, BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS has once again unveiled a new addition to its highly acclaimed S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series. Known for sculpting tokusatsu heroes from the bone structure up to achieve their original cool aesthetics and natural articulation, the latest announcement is the "Kamen Rider Den-O Rod Form / Ax Form" from "Kamen Rider Den-O," slated for a February 2022 release.
Kamen Rider Den-O is the transformed state of protagonist Ryotaro Nogami, who uses the Den-O Driver. As a Singularity Point, he can travel through time aboard the Den-Liner without being affected. However, his initial "Plat Form" is notoriously weak due to Ryotaro's own limited abilities, earning him the moniker "the weakest Rider in history." Despite this, Ryotaro possesses the unique ability to be possessed by multiple Imagin, allowing him to switch forms depending on which Imagin is currently controlling his body. When Urataros possesses him, he transforms into the agile "Rod Form," while Kintaros's possession grants him the powerful "Ax Form."
The "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Den-O Rod Form / Ax Form" continues the design philosophy of its predecessor. This set includes the Plat Form base body along with interchangeable armor parts for both Rod Form and Ax Form. Beyond the stunning metallic paint application on the outer armor, the figure meticulously recreates subtle details, such as the belt's color shifting with each form. It also comes complete with dedicated staff and axe weapons, alongside a variety of interchangeable hand parts, allowing collectors to perfectly capture the elegant grace of Rod Form and the powerful, dynamic presence of Ax Form!
