Following releases like the "Kyojuro Rengoku Flame Breathing" figure, part of the hugely popular "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" anime series, BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations collectible toy division is set to launch a new fixed-pose figure: the "Figuarts ZERO Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Hashira)." This impressive piece is priced at 8,250 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in February 2022.
Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, is a master of Flame Breathing. Known for his optimistic, cheerful, and fiery personality, he possesses exceptional leadership and judgment. Though he hails from a prestigious family that has practiced Flame Breathing for generations, his father, consumed by despair after his mother's passing, neglected his training. Undeterred, Kyojuro diligently studied the three volumes of Flame Breathing manuals passed down through his family, ultimately becoming the Flame Hashira through his own formidable efforts. His charismatic leadership earned him the trust of many, establishing him as a reliable, big-brother-like figure within the Demon Slayer Corps.
The "Figuarts ZERO Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Hashira)" stands approximately 15 cm tall. This dynamic figure is themed after the iconic battle between the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and Akaza from the theatrical film, capturing the "big brother" Hashira fiercely wielding his Nichirin Blade as he charges into combat. The sculpt faithfully reproduces his signature flame-like yellow and red hair, along with his distinctive thick eyebrows, unique pupils, and intense gaze. Complemented by dynamic flame effects on the base, his flame-patterned haori, worn over his Demon Slayer Corps uniform, is sculpted mid-flight, adding to the sense of motion. Additionally, the figure includes an alternate head sculpt depicting him injured and bleeding from battle. Pair him with the Figuarts ZERO Akaza to recreate their epic clash!
