Bandai's candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, has announced that due to rising costs, the suggested retail prices for several of its Shokugan product lines will be increased starting January 2022. A total of 19 product series will be affected, with an average price hike of around 10-20%.
According to BANDAI CANDY, the company has been in the Shokugan business for 40 years, committed to providing high-quality products to consumers. Despite years of efforts to streamline production and reduce costs, the recent surge in the price of raw materials, labor, and logistics has become impossible to absorb. In order to maintain the product quality that fans have come to expect, the decision was made to raise the suggested retail prices.
