From Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., comes the latest release in the new "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" model kit series, evolving from the popular "SUPER MINIPLA" line. This new kit, "Hyakuju Gattai GaoHunter" from "Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger," is set to launch in January 2022.
In "Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger," the numerous "Power Animals" utilized by the Gaorangers are not typical robots seen in previous series. Instead, they are nature spirits with animal forms. Lore states that 100 Power Animals exist in the world, each possessing unique abilities akin to real-world animals. Through various combinations, they can merge into different giant Spirit Kings. This latest product features three Power Animals used by GaoSilver: "GaoLigator," "GaoHammerhead," and "GaoWolf."
The "SMP Hyakuju Gattai GaoHunter" model kit brings together the three Power Animals—GaoLigator, GaoHammerhead, and GaoWolf—as partially pre-painted assembly models. Once completed, certain parts can be further enhanced with included stickers to more closely match their on-screen appearances. Beyond faithfully recreating the Power Animals' individual forms, the kit boasts intricate transformation and combination mechanisms, allowing them to merge into the impressive "GaoHunter" or combine with other separately sold Power Animals!
