From BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS, the robot-themed action figure line "ROBOT魂" announced the release of its latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV," the "MSN-01 High Mobility Zaku ver. A.N.I.M.E.," which was released in March 2022.
In the late stages of the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon began developing mobile suits equipped with Psycommu systems to fully utilize Newtype abilities in weaponry. Initially, the "MS-06Z Psycommu Test Zaku" was created by modifying a Zaku II. Later, to gather data under high-mobility and high-speed combat conditions, the "MSN-01 High Mobility Zaku" was developed. This mobile suit is equipped with "Wired 5-barrel Mega Particle Cannons" on both arms for all-range attacks. Unlike standard mobile suits with two legs, its lower body features large thermonuclear rocket engines, granting it immense mobility. The subsequent "MSN-02 Zeong" inherited many design elements from this machine.
The "ROBOT魂 MSN-01 High Mobility Zaku ver. A.N.I.M.E." features characteristic red markings reproduced via printing on its gray-white exterior armor. Its shoulder, chest, and waist joints utilize multi-axis and pull-out mechanisms, achieving flexible and natural high articulation. Both sets of thermonuclear rocket engines and their support frames in the lower body are articulated, allowing for the recreation of both flight and landing poses.
Accessories include cables to recreate the firing arm state, open hands for the Wired 5-barrel Mega Particle Cannons, 10 Mega Particle Cannon effect parts that attach to the fingers, and 15 jet effect parts for various thrusters across the body. These allow for dynamic and immersive combat scenes!
