BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division recently announced the latest addition to their "HG (HIGH GRADE)" plastic model kit series: the "HG 1/72 V-33 Stork Carrier" from the original anime series "AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline," slated for release in January 2022.
This new kit brings to life the "V-33 Stork Carrier," a military aircraft utilized by the North American Alliance forces in the series. Adopting the same 1/72 scale as other AMAIM kits, the model features intricately sculpted, high-density armor lines, a nose-mounted Gatling gun, and missile bays on both sides. Swappable parts allow for the deployment of the landing gear.
Furthermore, the Stork Carrier can be combined with the separately sold "HG 1/72 Brady Hound" series units. A dedicated towing part is included, allowing you to suspend the Brady Hound underneath and recreate its iconic transport state!
The kit also comes with additional armaments for the separately sold "HG 1/72 MAILeS Jogan," including two Armored Grenade Launchers and two 45mm Rapid-Fire Pistols.

"AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline" is the first original anime production from SUNRISE BEYOND, a studio known for its work on "Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urthr Hunt." The story is set in 2061 AD, where Japan has been divided and controlled by the world's four major economic blocs. Its people are treated as slaves in a subordinate nation, and the country has become a frontline battlefield for humanoid special mobile weapons known as "AMAIMs." The protagonist, Amou Shiiba, is a 16-year-old boy who loves machines and collects parts. His life changes when he encounters Gai, an autonomous AI, leading Amou to pilot his self-built AMAIM, the "MAILeS Kenbu," in a fight to reclaim Japan.
