From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under their BANPRESTO prize figure brand, the "World Collectable Figure (WCF)" series brings numerous anime characters to life in adorable chibi form. Following the release of the first wave of "One Piece" figures based on the "One Hundred Views of the Great Pirates" theme, the official announcement for the second wave's November 2021 launch has arrived.
The "One Hundred Views of the Great Pirates" is a magnificent commemorative illustration personally drawn by Eiichiro Oda, featuring the top 50 characters from the first-ever global "One Piece" character popularity poll, "World Top 100." This second wave of figures includes the three captains of the Worst Generation: Monkey D. Luffy, Trafalgar D. Water Law, and Eustass Kid. The lineup is rounded out by three members of the Straw Hat Pirates: Usopp, Nico Robin, and Franky. Each figure, standing approximately 7 cm tall, meticulously captures the characters' unique expressions and intricate costume details as depicted in the "One Hundred Views of the Great Pirates" illustration. Notably, the original artwork features Kid and Franky in a dynamic battle pose, with one punching and the other blocking – a cool interaction that's faithfully translated into their chibi WCF forms. Robin's Devil Fruit ability-created wings are also perfectly recreated in miniature.
