Japanese company Aniplex recently announced a new figure from the popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order," the "Caster/Artoria 1/7 Scale Figure," slated for release in October 2022. This product will be exclusively sold at ANIPLEX+, Sony's anime merchandise store.
Unlike the Knight King who once wielded Excalibur, the Caster-class Artoria from the Lostbelt Britain is a fairy girl chosen by the "Staff of Selection," the prophesied child destined to save the Fairy Kingdom. She is an innocent, cheerful, and diligent girl capable of wielding various forms of magic. After encountering the protagonist, who arrived in the Lostbelt with amnesia, she embarks on a pilgrimage, gradually uncovering Artoria's true mission as the "Fairy of Paradise."
The "Caster/Artoria 1/7 Scale Figure" is based on her Second Ascension appearance from the game, capturing the innocent and cheerful expression of the 16-year-old girl in three dimensions. This product is produced in collaboration with Japanese figure maker Stronger, meticulously sculpting her pure white attire and magnificent golden cape. Both the hat and cape are detachable, allowing for interchangeable display options.
Her "Staff of Selection" is precisely sculpted, recreating the umbrella-rib-like metal parts, while the gem at the tip is rendered with clear parts for a translucent, sparkling effect. Various textures like metal, wood, and fabric are differentiated through distinct colors and finishes.
