Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, is set to release a new figure of "Lalah Sune," a prominent female character from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series! This figure will be available as a prize item, with an anticipated release in October 2022.
Lalah Sune (ララァ・スン) was one of the earliest known Newtypes, originally abandoned and forced into a child prostitution ring in India. Char Aznable, drawn to her unique abilities, rescued her. She harbored deep gratitude and affection for Char, who recognized her potential, and later joined the Principality of Zeon, assisting at the Newtype Labs. However, as a test pilot for Psycommu weapons, Lalah was thrust into frontline combat, ultimately meeting her tragic end when shot down by Amuro Ray.
The BANPRESTO Lalah Sune prize figure is sculpted at approximately 18 cm tall, faithfully recreating her iconic look from the series. It will be available in two versions: a "Version A" with her original anime colors and a "Version B" with a special alternate color scheme.
