BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has officially announced the latest entry in their highly detailed and sophisticated Gunpla line, the "RE/100 (REBORN-ONE HUNDRED)" series. Coming from "Gundam Build Divers Side Story: Genius Head Line," the new "Gundam Lindwurm" model kit is slated for release in February 2022.
"Gundam Build Divers Side Story: Genius Head Line" is a new project serialized in the Gunpla magazine "GUNDAM HOBBY LIFE." It's set within the GBN (Gunpla Battle Nexus Online) from "Gundam Build Divers," portraying a popular channel that spotlights notable battles. Renowned modeler NAOKI is responsible for both the mobile suit designs and the story, with each installment featuring a different machine and narrative.
The "RE/100 Gundam Lindwurm" kit is based on previously released "RE/100 Bawoo" series mobile suits. It incorporates numerous new parts for the head, shoulders, torso, waist, legs, backpack, and shield, faithfully recreating a silhouette reminiscent of the Z Gundam. While it doesn't feature a full inner frame, its exterior armor boasts incredibly high-density detail, further enhanced by newly designed water-slide decals included with the kit.
For armament, the kit includes a beam rifle, beam sabers, a shield, and missiles. Furthermore, the Gundam Lindwurm inherits the separation and transformation gimmick from the Bawoo series, allowing its upper and lower halves to split into distinct flight forms.
