Bandai's Gashapon division has announced the upcoming release of "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE 20," the latest 20th wave in their highly popular "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" capsule toy series. Known for its interchangeable joints and endless customization possibilities for "Mobile Suit Gundam" mobile suits, this new lineup is set to launch in January 2022.
This exciting wave features a diverse lineup of mobile suits, including the main units from "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam," the Crossbone Gundam X1 and Crossbone Gundam X2. Also joining the roster is the Strike Gundam E, an improved variant of the Strike Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 ΔASTRAY," which was previously teased. Fans can also look forward to the I.W.S.P. Equipment, designed to be mounted on the Strike Gundam E and integrating various armaments such as electromagnetic railguns, anti-ship swords, and composite shields. The Nemo, AEUG's primary mass-produced mobile suit during the Gryps Conflict, makes an appearance, alongside an MS Weapon Set that includes iconic Crossbone Gundam armaments like the ABC Cloak, Beam Shield, and Scissor Anchor. The collection comprises a total of 6 types.
Each mobile suit is meticulously crafted in an approximately 4-head tall proportion, boasting excellent color separation and detailed sculpting. Beyond the weapons included with each individual unit, collectors can utilize the shared connection points to equip weapons and accessories from other mobile suits, allowing for the creation of a wide array of unique, custom-specification mobile suits.
