Following the success of its first release, Ryujinmaru, BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectible toy division today announced that a new product plan from the "CODE GEASS" anime series is officially underway for its popular alloy toy line's spin-off series, "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE." The announcement also included a tantalizing silhouette of the mecha currently in development.
The "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE" series builds upon the core characteristics of the original MB line, featuring premium alloy parts, a weighty, high-quality paint finish, and a reinterpretation of iconic designs. Additionally, it introduces new features such as "dragon scale-like movable armor" and "internal structures imbued with a soul," resulting in a more organic and biologically expressive aesthetic.
While no specific product details have been officially released yet, the unveiled silhouette strongly resembles the "Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements" from "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2." Design drafts for the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements have also made multiple appearances in past exhibitions and promotional videos, hinting at its eventual release.
