Hello everyone! Today, we're thrilled to unbox and share our impressions of Good Smile Company's Snow Miku: Snow Princess Ver. figure.
This particular Snow Miku is the 2019 edition, a significant year as it marked Snow Miku's 10th anniversary. Historically, a Snow Miku Nendoroid is released every year for collectors, and I personally make sure to pick up each one. However, PVC figure releases have been far less frequent. To my recollection, there have only been three: FREEing's 1/4th scale Snow Miku 2010 (which I still haven't acquired, unfortunately), Good Smile Company's Snow Miku 2011, and today's unboxing, the 2019 edition. Given the limited number of PVC releases, this 10th-anniversary SNOW MIKU 2019 edition holds even greater commemorative significance.

The box design predominantly features cool blue and white tones, evoking a crisp, icy atmosphere. The original illustration is also printed on the side of the box, showcasing the figure's impressive fidelity to the artwork.
Lifting the box lid reveals a decagonal pattern, with each segment representing a different year of Snow Miku's history. While the Snow Miku 2019 Nendoroid box also featured this design and explicitly labeled each year, this higher-priced PVC figure omits those labels. Perhaps this was for aesthetic reasons, but it does mean newcomers miss out on a quick introduction to the history. To clarify, starting from the 6 o'clock position (the bottom segment), that represents 2010, and each subsequent segment counter-clockwise advances by one year. Fans who have followed Snow Miku will appreciate how each design cleverly incorporates elements from its respective year – it's truly impressive.
The PVC figure's contents are, as usual, quite straightforward.
Circling the main figure, it's evident she's adorned in splendor from head to toe, absolutely stunning. Yukine, Snow Miku's pet rabbit who has accompanied her since 2014, is also a crucial part of the design. I've taken separate shots of Yukine, so it's not included in these initial full-figure photos.
With each year's unique Snow Miku design theme, Yukine also receives a distinct outfit. Aligning with the 2019 princess theme, Yukine is adorned with aristocratic accessories like a ruffled collar, gemstone embellishments, and a scepter.
Detail Breakdown:
The face sculpt is virtually free of "angle limitations," which is fantastic – you won't have to worry about restricted display angles.
Good Smile Company truly inspires confidence; their attention to detail is impeccable.
The hair sculpt is breathtaking.
It captures an incredible amount of detail without appearing muddled.
The quality of the cape was the most surprising aspect; its translucent effect is truly remarkable.
The entire dress design is another major visual highlight. Its multi-layered construction, countless ruffles, and interspersed pleats create an undeniably opulent aesthetic.
The attire for her legs is comparatively simpler, preventing the lower half of the outfit from appearing overly busy.
While her high heels might not immediately grab attention, a closer look reveals their exquisite design.
The base features the 10th-anniversary motif.
Finally, while I've been praising this PVC figure throughout, there is one minor drawback worth mentioning. Specifically, the seam line where the cape segments meet, particularly at the tail end, is quite noticeable. While it's not noticeable from a frontal display angle, it was a bit jarring to see during the unboxing photography.
Due to the need to support the cape and her voluminous hair, three support stands are included.
That concludes the overview of the figure's contents. Overall, this is a highly collectible Hatsune Miku PVC figure. Given the limited number of Snow Miku PVC figures available, it's clear the manufacturer put great care into delivering a quality product. If you like it, don't hesitate!
