From BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, the Figuarts Zero chouette series, which brings the beautiful and opulent world of "Sailor Moon" to life with the high-quality sculpting techniques of the FiguartsZERO line, is finally releasing a new entry after several years. Based on the theatrical film "Sailor Moon Eternal," the latest release is the "Super Sailor Moon -Bright Moon & Legendary Silver Crystal-," priced at 8,250 JPY and slated for release in February 2022.
Naoko Takeuchi's iconic shojo battle manga, "Sailor Moon," saw its TV anime adaptation, "Sailor Moon SuperS," premiere in 1995, marking over 25 years of accompanying generations of fans through their childhoods. The theatrical film "Sailor Moon Eternal," adapted from the "Dead Moon Arc" of the "Sailor Moon Crystal" anime, is directed by Chiaki Kon and supervised by Naoko Takeuchi herself. Character designs are handled by Kazuko Tadano, the original character designer for the first "Sailor Moon" anime! Beyond the designs closely resembling their familiar debut appearances, the film's trailer even features the classic background music "Moonlight Densetsu," truly bringing back all the childhood memories!
Following the 2018 release of "Sailor Moon -Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!-," the Figuarts Zero chouette series welcomes back "Super Sailor Moon -Bright Moon & Legendary Silver Crystal-." This figure is designed after Super Sailor Moon as she appears in the "Sailor Moon Eternal" movie, featuring her costume after gaining the power of the Holy Grail. Seated gracefully on an ornate crescent moon base, her gentle pose and the translucent effect parts for the Legendary Silver Crystal meticulously convey the world of the series. Usagi's sweet smile, combined with her flowing blonde pigtails and the romantic ribbons on her outfit, further enhances the overall dynamic charm!
