Japanese figure manufacturer FREEing showcased a variety of new figma action figure prototypes at the "WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU!! 34" exhibition last Saturday (October 2nd). The reveals included popular villains from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," entries in the "Table Museum -Annex-" series featuring historical artifacts, and even a figma of the beloved Japanese comedian, Kuro-chan!
The figma series, produced by Japanese figure maker Max Factory, is renowned for its exceptional articulation. It utilizes joint parts co-developed with sculptor Masaki Apsy, offering sophisticated poseability while faithfully recreating character designs. Coupled with interchangeable face plates, hand parts, and a wealth of character-specific accessories, figma figures allow collectors to recreate a wide array of scenes. Since its debut in 2008, the series has released over 500 products, establishing itself as one of Japan's most recognized action figure lines.
