Japan's Max Factory, known for its diverse and popular plastic model kit brand "PLAMAX," recently announced the upcoming release of their latest product from "Macross Delta," the "PLAMAX MF-52 minimum factory Nose Art Collection VF-31C," slated for January 2022.
The "PLAMAX Nose Art Collection" series meticulously recreates the nose sections of popular fighter jets from the "Macross" anime franchise in impressive 1/20 scale. The latest addition to this series is the "VF-31C Siegfried," piloted by the protagonist Mirage Farina Jenius, from "Macross Delta."
Once completed, the kit boasts a powerful 31cm length, capturing the fighter's sleek, streamlined design. Beyond its high-density exterior details, the model also intricately renders the cockpit interior and the landing gear storage bays, showcasing a level of precision often difficult to achieve in standard "Macross" model kits. The product includes decals to replicate the aircraft's markings, though some parts will require additional painting to achieve the fully finished look of the official sample.
