Japan's largest model exhibition, "WONDER FESTIVAL 2021 [Autumn] ONLINE," is set to kick off online this Saturday. Japanese model maker Kaiyodo will release two limited-edition products created by emerging sculptor 'K': the "Android HB01 Clear Ver." and the "Android EL01 1/12 Scale Ver." These items will be exclusively available through Kaiyodo's direct sales channels (Kaiyodo Hobby Lobby Tokyo/Kadoma, and the Kaiyodo Online Store).
A graduate of an art university, emerging sculptor 'K' previously specialized in automotive design while also harboring a passion for human body sculpture. After discovering Wonder Festival several years ago, 'K' made their debut as a dealer at the summer 2019 event. Their first release, the digitally modeled and 3D-printed garage kit "Android EL01," was immediately recognized, earning a spot in the 38th Wonder Showcase. Following this success, 'K' collaborated with Kaiyodo again to release the commercial product "Hollow Body," which received widespread acclaim.

The "Android HB01 Clear Ver.," which blends human anatomy with mechanical aesthetics, scales down the previously released standard version to a 20 cm size. Its parts are now molded in clear plastic, resulting in a more compact and affordable figure. The intricately intertwined mechanical torso reflects a unique luster, creating a texture reminiscent of crystal or ice sculpture.
