Known for its impressive lineup of Bishoujo PVC products, Japanese toy brand Kotobukiya is set to release a 1/8 scale figure of Eris Boreas Greyrat, one of the main heroines from the popular series "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation," in March 2022.
The Japanese light novel series "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" (無職転生〜異世界行ったら本気だす〜) is written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. It originally began serialization on the web novel site "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" in November 2012. The story follows a 34-year-old jobless NEET who, after being kicked out of his home on the day of his parents' funeral, is tragically killed in a truck accident. He awakens to find himself reincarnated as an infant named Rudeus in a world of swords and magic, determined to live his new life to the fullest.
Eris Boreas Greyrat is Rudeus's distant cousin. Early in the story, she possesses a volatile and aggressive personality, earning her the moniker "Mad Dog Eris." After being teleported to the Demon Continent with Rudeus, her swordsmanship greatly improves through training under Ruijerd Superdia during their long journey home. Later, seeking to become even stronger, she leaves Rudeus to train in the Holy Land of Swords, eventually becoming the formidable "Sword King" before rejoining Rudeus to confront the Dragon God.
Kotobukiya's Eris figure is sculpted at 1/8 scale, standing approximately 22 cm tall. It captures her appearance from the Demon Continent era, showcasing a confident expression with her beloved sword resting on her shoulder. Her vibrant red hair is dynamically sculpted, conveying a sense of movement, while her armor and other intricate details are meticulously reproduced, right down to the ring on her hand.
