After unveiling the prototype for their "Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Picked Up a High School Runaway" anime protagonist, Sayu Ogiwara, back in April, Japanese figure manufacturer UNION CREATIVE (ユニオンクリエイティブ株式会社) is finally making the pre-painted figureavailable for pre-order! Pre-orders are open on their official website from October 8 to December 10, 2021, priced at 17,380 JPY, with an estimated release in May 2022.
The Japanese light novel "Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Picked Up a High School Runaway" (ひげを剃る。そして女子高生を拾う。), written by Shimesaba (醋青魚) with illustrations by Boota, follows Yoshida, a 26-year-old IT company employee. After a five-year unrequited crush on his boss ends in rejection, he drowns his sorrows in alcohol. On his way home, he encounters Sayu Ogiwara, a runaway high school girl who offers herself in exchange for a place to stay. Thus begins the unexpected cohabitation of a single salaryman and a runaway girl.

UNION CREATIVE's "Sayu Ogiwara" pre-painted figure brings Sayu to life at an impressive 26cm tall, clad in her school uniform. Her adorable face features a subtly alluring smile, while her unbuttoned shirt, loosened tie, and half-removed uniform jacket reveal an impish demeanor, creating a charming contrast with her wide, innocent eyes! Her naturally flowing hair and adorable ahoge (cowlick) further enhance her cuteness, and her pleated schoolgirl skirt showcases healthy, attractive leg lines.
