BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has announced the latest addition to its highly popular "Figure-rise Standard" character model kit series: "Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Kuuga Dragon Form / Rising Dragon," slated for release in January 2022.
Kamen Rider Kuuga is the transformed state of adventurer protagonist Yusuke Godai, who dons the ancient Linto warrior's transformation belt, "Arcle," found in the Kurowayama ruins. He is the legendary warrior who fought against the Grongi tribe, also known to the police as "Unidentified Life Form No. 4." Thanks to the "Amadam" spirit stone embedded within the Arcle, Kuuga can transform into various forms, each manipulating corresponding natural elements. This new product features the agile "Dragon Form," which utilizes water elements, and its enhanced version, "Rising Dragon."
The "Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Kuuga Dragon Form / Rising Dragon" kit builds upon the previously released Mighty Form. In addition to switching to blue molded plastic, it incorporates newly sculpted chest and shoulder armor parts to accurately recreate the Dragon Form. The kit also includes the dedicated "Dragon Rod" weapon, allowing collectors to pose Kuuga in dynamic battle stances thanks to the highly articulated joints throughout the body.
Furthermore, the kit comes with a set of interchangeable parts to transform Dragon Form's chest armor, shoulder armor, gauntlets, and belt into the "Rising Dragon Form." The Dragon Rod can also be enhanced with replacement parts to become the "Rising Dragon Rod." All gold sections are electroplated, achieving a stunning matte gold finish. The package is further enhanced by newly drawn full-color box art, making this release truly deluxe!
