Japanese toy company Megahouse, known for its adorable Q-version "LOOKUP (るかっぷ)" figure series featuring characters from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," has announced two new additions: Genya Shinazugawa and Tanjiro Kamado (Final Selection Version). Both figures are slated for release in late June 2022.
Despite the manga's conclusion, the immensely popular "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" franchise continues to thrive, with merchandise remaining highly sought after. The highly anticipated second season of the anime, the "Entertainment District Arc," is set to premiere in Japan on December 5th, promising to reignite fan excitement! Megahouse's "LOOKUP" series captures the beloved characters of "Demon Slayer" in a unique, adorable Q-version style, featuring them sitting on the ground with an upward gaze, each standing approximately 11 cm tall.
These two new figures, Genya Shinazugawa and Tanjiro Kamado (Final Selection Version), meticulously recreate their appearances from the original series. Genya's cool, somewhat aloof expression, reminiscent of his brother Sanemi, along with the distinctive scar on his face, are faithfully reproduced. Tanjiro, in his Final Selection attire, sports the iconic light blue haori and even includes his fox mask. As a special bonus, a bundled set of both characters will be available, featuring exclusive patterned cushions for them to sit on.
