Good Smile Company, the Japanese manufacturer behind the popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand unique figures, is set to release new additions from the hit anime "Godzilla Singular Point." Fans can look forward to the Nendoroid Mei Kamino, Nendoroid Yun Arikawa, and the highly anticipated Nendoroid Pelo 2! Directed by Atsushi Takahashi and co-produced by studios BONES and Orange, the entirely new anime "Godzilla Singular Point" features a story penned by Toh Enjoe. Breaking away from traditional Japanese kaiju film tropes, the series establishes a complex world, rich scientific theories, and abundant sci-fi elements. Through the gradual unraveling of mysteries by human protagonists—the genius scientist Mei Kamino and AI researcher Yun Arikawa—the anime subtly portrays the enigma and allure of its monsters. The show is also packed with fun Easter eggs and famous scene homages to classic "Godzilla" works, enhancing the viewing experience.
Originally developed by Yun as the communication support AI "Armillaria," Pelo 2 took on a dog-like form after moving into Mei's laptop, named after Mei's former pet dog, Pelo. Now, this adorable dog-type AI is making its Nendoroid debut! Standing approximately 10 cm tall, the figure perfectly recreates Pelo 2's cute canine appearance and vibrant, eye-catching colors. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a standard face with its tongue out, a charming watery-eyed smiling face, and a curious, surprised face. Accessories include a drum, french fries, and the "Pelo 2 Robot Body." Its feet parts feature built-in magnets, allowing for smooth and dynamic posing!
