BANDAI CANDY's popular candy toy series, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," announced today (the 15th) the upcoming release of the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," the "Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility (Destroy Mode)," slated for March 2022.
The Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility originated as the "Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Plan B," which debuted in the arcade Gundam card game "GUNDAM TRYAGE." At the time, it was conceived as an alternative plan for the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, with "Plan B" signifying "BLUE." Consequently, the entire unit's beam weaponry and Psycoframe were designed with a blue aesthetic. It also incorporated the Armed Armor BS, VN, XC, and DE units from the Banshee and Banshee Norn. Later, with the release of the "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" Blu-ray BOX, new settings were introduced to bridge its story with the "Mobile Suit Gundam NT" version of Unit 3, the "Phenex." This update added tail feather-like stabilizers to the back-mounted Armed Armor DE, and the unit was officially renamed the Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility, truly representing the culmination of the Unicorn series.
The "G-FRAME FA Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility (Destroy Mode)" boasts the enhanced exterior features of the FA improved version, with fully covered armor on both arms and the rear of the thighs. Its Psycoframe sections are finished with a striking metallic blue paint, and various unit markings are printed across the white exterior armor.
Its impressive arsenal includes the Hyper Beam Javelin, Armed Armor BS, VN, XC, and two sets of back-mounted Armed Armor DE units. When fully equipped, it achieves a powerful, complete armament form. The figure also comes with a dedicated display stand, allowing collectors to pose it dynamically, even recreating scenes of the two Armed Armor DE units deploying.
