From BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, comes a new addition to their "World Collectable Figure (WCF)" series, which brings numerous anime characters to life in adorable Q-version form. The new product, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba vol.1," is set to release tomorrow, October 19th!
After releasing characters like the "Hashira," the protagonist "Tanjiro" and his companions, and various super-cute "Nezuko" designs, this new "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba vol.1" set centers around the "Final Selection" storyline, which is crucial for becoming a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. The figures include "Sakonji Urokodaki" and his apprentices "Sabito," "Makomo," and "Tanjiro," as well as the monstrous "Hand Demon"—an aberrant demon hunted and sealed away by Urokodaki on Mt. Fujikasane, who subsequently devoured Urokodaki's disciples to vent its fury!
Each figure, standing around 7 cm tall, meticulously recreates the character's costume designs and expressions. Tanjiro, wearing his fox mask and a blue top with cloud patterns, is a relatively rare depiction. As for the Hand Demon, in addition to its intricately sculpted grotesque appearance and incredibly cunning expression, its overall size is exceptionally imposing, giving it a powerful presence.
