Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios announced a new addition to their 1/10 scale "Art Scale" line yesterday (17th): a full-body statue of "Darkseid" from "Zack Snyder's Justice League"! Shipping is estimated for Q4 2022.
Standing approximately 35 cm tall, this piece is crafted from polystone and meticulously hand-painted. It faithfully recreates Darkseid's rock-like, formidable physique and the metallic battle armor covering his body. The statue not only captures the intricate stone textures but also sculpts powerful muscle lines. The richly layered and sharp armor and gauntlets feature realistic battle-damage effects, effectively conveying Darkseid's extensive combat history.
Regarding the armor's color, this rendition leans towards a grayer tone compared to statues released by WETA and Prime 1 Studio, as well as the action figures produced by McFarlane Toys. Darkseid's red eyes are particularly menacing, and combined with the alien-themed base, the overall presence is incredibly imposing!
