Japan's BANDAI CANDY, a division of Bandai's Shokugan business, is expanding its highly articulated "EVA-FRAME" series based on the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films. Following the first wave, Yashima Operation Set, second wave, and "Evangelion: 3.0" Final Battle Set, the latest release, the "EVA-FRAME: 'Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time' Set," is now available for pre-order exclusively through Premium Bandai and the Evangelion Store! This set is priced at 5,995 JPY and is slated for an April 2022 release.
The "EVA-FRAME" series is renowned for its highly flexible articulated frame structure, and this new "EVA-FRAME: 'Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time' Set" is no exception. Building upon the previously released EVA Unit-01 and EVA Unit-13, these figures feature all-new paint applications meticulously crafted to reflect their appearance in the final film, "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," boasting enhanced light and shadow contrasts. The set also includes the four iconic spears seen in the movie, along with dedicated spear-holding hands and interchangeable head parts, allowing collectors to recreate the magnificent spear-wielding poses and classic battle scenes from the film!
●EVA Unit-13 (Thrice Upon a Time New Color Version)
This version comes with newly sculpted interchangeable hand parts for dynamic spear-holding poses. Additionally, a replacement chest part is included to display its distinctive four-armed, crossed-arm stance.
●EVA Unit-01 (Thrice Upon a Time New Color Version)
Beyond its fresh color scheme and new hand parts, this Unit-01 also features a newly sculpted open-mouth head. It comes complete with the Lance of Longinus, Lance of Cassius, Lance of Gaius, and one other spear, along with two clear display stands, perfect for recreating the climactic final battle.
