Bandai Candy, the shokugan (candy toy) division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest addition to its popular "ANIMAGEAR" series. The enhanced "ANIMAGEAR DE" (Double Edge) line will release its third wave, "ANIMAGEAR DE 03," in March 2022.
The evolved "ANIMAGEAR DE" series features tool-free assembly, allowing enthusiasts to easily snap together parts by hand. This design makes the building, playing, and customizing experience even more convenient. The line also introduces additional armor connection points, humanoid head parts, and a brand-new two-unit combination system called "TWIN CROSS UP," enabling even greater freedom for customization, swapping parts, and creating unique new forms!
The third wave of "ANIMAGEAR DE" includes these five distinct machines:
1. DUALIZE GIRAFORTE (Kojirō Retsu)
This unit is an enhanced version based on the DUALIZE STAGGER. In addition to its signature dual-wielding gun techniques, it can now deploy long-range rifles, launching powerful laser beams to swiftly eliminate multiple enemies.
2. SHINING KLEIODE (Kleiode)
A formidable machine that reigns supreme over the International ANIMAGEAR Federation Association. Its transparent outer armor boasts exaggerated effects that combine the performance of all BLOOD STICKERs. In its Nudibranch Mode, it can transfer stored energy to support other ANIMAGEAR units. When transformed into its humanoid mode, it can harness all its energy for itself, becoming a destructive deity with overwhelming power.
3. SHINING KLEIODE:ENFORCED (Kleiode Enforcer)
This is SHINING KLEIODE's ability release form, activated to purge enemies. It can regenerate its own expended energy, allowing it to sustain combat operations semi-permanently. In this state, KLEIODE operates autonomously, disregarding all commands and mercilessly hunting down any enemy it deems a threat.
4. MONKEY GOCLOUD (Gocloud)
This unit is an ape-type ANIMAGEAR specialized in close-quarters combat. It possesses exceptional learning abilities and can utilize its distinctive long arms to deliver unpredictable, painful strikes from outside enemy attack ranges. It can also separate its staff for flexible offensive maneuvers.
5. ACID CANCIPHER (Cancypher)
A crab-type ANIMAGEAR designed for long-range combat, this unit, like MONKEY GOCLOUD, escaped during an experiment and is currently being pursued. Its back-mounted cannon can fire high-pressure acidic water jets, capable of piercing distant targets. Furthermore, its powerful crab claws are not to be underestimated, proving highly effective in close-range engagements.
