Japan's MEDICOS Entertainment is set to release "Super Action Statue Diego Brando Second" from their highly popular "Super Action Statue" line, based on "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run." Additionally, a special "Super Figure Art Collection Silver Bullet & Super Action Statue Diego Brando" set will be available exclusively through the MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP. Both are slated for a May 2022 release.
"Diego Brando," who appears in "Steel Ball Run," is a parallel world version of DIO. Abandoned by his father at birth, he lived with his mother until her passing, after which he vowed revenge against an unfair society. Utilizing his innate equestrian skills, he became a nobleman of the racing world, entering the SBR race to achieve glory. His beloved Arabian horse is named "Silver Bullet." During the competition, he acquired the Stand ability "Scary Monsters" (スケアリー モンスターズ), which allows him to transform himself into a dinosaur.
The "Super Action Statue Diego Brando Second" action figure is a re-release of the 2018 "Diego Brando" figure, now featuring a fresh, light blue secondary color scheme. Standing approximately 160mm tall, the figure faithfully recreates his distinctive costume. It also includes interchangeable dinosaur head and tail parts, along with clawed hands, allowing for a complete depiction of his "Scary Monsters" dinosaur transformation ability. The articulated joint design enables collectors to recreate a variety of classic and elegant JoJo poses!
Additionally, the Medicos Online Store exclusive racing horse, "Super Figure Art Collection Silver Bullet," can be paired with the figure. This exquisitely detailed and realistically colored statue measures approximately 195mm tall and 240mm long, priced at 19,800 JPY (tax excluded) for individual purchase. It comes with interchangeable riding hands for Diego Brando and a whip accessory. The special bundle set includes an exclusive bonus head sculpt depicting Diego in his half-dinosaur, open-mouthed state, along with additional interchangeable hands!
