Good Smile Company's popular "Nendoroid Doll" series, based on the hit anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," is set to release two new articulated figures: the "Nendoroid Doll Inosuke Hashibira" and the "Nendoroid Doll Zenitsu Agatsuma." Both figures will retail for 8,300 JPY and are slated for a June 2022 release.
A fan-favorite character from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the five同期生 (same-period recruits) who passed the Final Selection alongside protagonist Tanjiro Kamado to join the Demon Slayer Corps. Zenitsu is known for his cowardly and timid nature, often screaming at the slightest provocation, endlessly complaining, and constantly believing he's on the verge of death. Desperate not to die single, he frequently proposes marriage to any girl he encounters. While awake, he's weak and noisy, but when overcome by extreme tension or fear, he falls asleep and unleashes precise and masterful sword techniques using his Thunder Breathing style.
The highly posable "Nendoroid Doll Zenitsu Agatsuma" stands approximately 140mm tall. It features a Nendoroid-sized head combined with a larger doll body designed to wear fabric clothing. Zenitsu's iconic Demon Slayer Corps uniform (top and bottom) and his distinctive haori have been meticulously recreated in fabric, perfectly capturing his look from the series.
