Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has today unveiled a partial introduction to the latest entry in its popular "Megami Device" line of mecha girl plastic model kits: the "Chaos & Pretty Alice." Full product details are set to be released, with pre-orders opening on October 27.
Inspired by the classic fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland," the Chaos & Pretty Alice is designed by renowned Japanese illustrator Nagira. This kit builds upon the previously released "Chaos & Pretty Witch" by incorporating elements from the "M.S.G Weapon Unit 18 RAGING BOOSTER" and numerous new parts to create both the adorable Alice and her rabbit-shaped support mech.
The "Megami Device Chaos & Pretty Alice" kit utilizes the highly articulated "Machinika" body, designed by sculptor Masaki Apsy. It features a cute blonde Alice crafted with various newly sculpted hair, expression, and molded color parts. The kit includes multiple interchangeable hand parts and three pre-painted face parts. She can also be equipped with light armor that resembles a charming dress!
Beyond the highly articulated main body, the kit also includes a rabbit-type support mech, modified from the "M.S.G Weapon Unit 18 RAGING BOOSTER." This mech can interact adorably with Alice, or it can disassemble into enhanced armor that Alice can freely equip, transforming her into the high-mobility "WILD MODE" with outstanding jumping power and search capabilities!
