FREEing's incredibly popular figma "Table Museum" articulated figure series, known for bringing art to life, is expanding its new "Table Museum -Branch-" sub-line. Following the "Moai" and "Terracotta Army" figures, the latest release delves into ancient Egypt with the "figma Tutankhamun / Tutankhamun DX Ver." This new figure is currently available for pre-order via the GOOD SMILE COMPANY online store and is slated for a July 2022 release.
The "Table Museum" series transforms global artworks into playable figures. For its third entry in the "Table Museum -Branch-" sub-series, FREEing presents "figma Tutankhamun," commemorating one of archaeology's greatest discoveries: the ancient Egyptian pharaoh. Standing approximately 145mm tall, the figure meticulously recreates the iconic golden mask that covered Tutankhamun's mummy. Every detail is faithfully rendered, from the hawk and cobra deities on the forehead to the intricate carvings and various embedded jewels and colored glass. The obsidian eyes on the mask are also vividly reproduced, capturing its powerful gaze.

The "figma Tutankhamun DX Ver." offers even more display options. In addition to multiple interchangeable hand parts for various poses, this deluxe version includes a golden sarcophagus, measuring approximately 170mm. It faithfully replicates the innermost anthropoid coffin, featuring delicate and unique feather patterns along its frame. The iconic pose, with one hand holding a crook and the other a flail, is also dynamically reproduced.
