Following the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed "Frankenstein's Monster Raphael," US toy manufacturer NECA, in partnership with Universal Monsters, has officially unveiled details for the next figure in the crossover line: the 7-inch action figure, "Leonardo as Ygor the Hunchback"! This highly anticipated collectible is slated for a May 2022 release.

This iteration of Ygor, a character from the classic "Frankenstein" story, serves as the assistant to the mad scientist Victor Frankenstein. Known for his difficulty communicating and his severely hunched, grotesque physique, which often led to him being mistreated, are key elements of his character. This "Leonardo" figure, transformed into Ygor the Hunchback, stands approximately 7 inches tall. Beyond Leo's signature blue bandana and twin katanas, the figure masterfully captures Ygor's hunched posture, thick back, partially closed right eye, and tattered clothing, perfectly depicting the unsightly, hunchbacked assistant.
Accessories included with the figure are a brain in a jar, a pair of katanas, a shovel, a bone, a skull, flame effect parts, and multiple interchangeable hands. In a super cool touch, all these accessories can be stored within Leonardo's opening shell! This is a fantastic and fun design that cleverly utilizes the character's unique attributes.
Compared to the previous "Frankenstein's Monster Raphael," this figure truly emphasizes the severe hunchback!
