TAKARA TOMY's "HelloPocha" Brings Adorable Piplup Robot to Your Pocket!

Following the success of their popular "HelloPika" interactive toy, Japanese toy giant TAKARA TOMY is once again diving into the world of "Pokémon" with a new robot companion: "Nee HelloPocha." This adorable new release was priced at 3,300 JPY and launched on November 13, 2021.

Starring Piplup, the beloved Water-type starter Pokémon from the Generation IV "Diamond and Pearl" games, "Nee HelloPocha" is a pocket-sized robot measuring approximately 130mm tall and 70mm deep. Developed with the concept of "creating a real Piplup," this interactive companion features built-in automatic sound detection to engage with players. Beyond its signature "Pocha Pocha!" cry, HelloPocha can turn its head, sing, shake its head, get angry, and even mimic using its iconic Bubble Beam attack – all with incredibly cute reactions!

What's more, HelloPocha features a clever design with a gap between its arms and body, allowing it to clip onto blankets, pockets, or bags, making it perfectly portable for adventures on the go!
