Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company (GSC) is set to release a non-scale pre-painted complete figure of "Sayu Ogiwara," the heroine from the light novel-turned-anime "Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway." Now you can legally bring the high school girl home! Priced at 16,000 JPY, the figure is scheduled to ship in October 2022.
"Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway" (Japanese title: ひげを剃る。そして女子高生を拾う。) is a Japanese light novel series written by Shimesaba and illustrated by booota. The story follows Yoshida, a 26-year-old IT company employee, who, after a crushing five-year unrequited love confession to his boss, drowns his sorrows in alcohol. On his way home, he encounters Sayu Ogiwara, a runaway high school girl. Sayu attempts to trade "favors" for a place to stay... and thus begins the cohabitation of a single salaryman and a runaway girl, driven by circumstance.
Good Smile Company's "Sayu Ogiwara" pre-painted complete figure brings the illustration from the first Blu-ray volume cover to life. Despite her crouching pose, she boasts a substantial height of approximately 165mm!
