KOTOBUKIYA, the renowned Japanese toy company, recently announced the upcoming release of the "Governor Weapons Combat Assort 01" and "Governor Weapons Combat Assort 02" for its highly customizable model kit series, "HEXA GEAR." Both sets are slated for an April 2022 release.
In the rich lore of the "HEXA GEAR" universe, Governors are elite soldiers tasked with wielding a variety of weapons in combat and piloting the massive HEXA GEAR mechs. They operate in diverse reinforced suits, and the ranks even include non-living bionic soldiers known as PARA-PAWNs. These model kits bring Governors to life as highly detailed mini-figures, standing approximately 77mm tall with over 20 points of articulation, allowing for dynamic posing with their extensive weapon arsenals.
The "Governor Weapons Combat Assort 01" includes a "Samurai Master Plasma Sword," a prototype large laser rifle, two grenades, a tactical backpack, and a suspension unit.
Meanwhile, the "Governor Weapons Combat Assort 02" comes packed with a pistol, a large plasma sword, a reinforced shotgun with a bandolier, a plasma cannon, a Tactical Armor Kai, and two types of multi-purpose supply boxes.
