The Traditional Chinese and Korean versions of "Ys IX" are officially landing on Nintendo Switch and Steam! This release builds upon the Traditional Chinese and Korean editions of the PlayStation 4 version of "Ys IX: Monstrum Nox," which originally launched in February 2020, and has been optimized for the Nintendo Switch and PC gaming experience. The Nintendo Switch version not only supports TV mode but also handheld and tabletop modes, allowing players to enjoy adventuring through the world of "Ys IX" in various environments. Additionally, it includes all the exclusive costumes, decorative items, and other extra content previously released for the PlayStation 4 version.
※Please note that this only includes downloadable content sold on the PlayStation Store, excluding consumable items. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Set in the Prison City of Balduq, the Monstrums' adventure begins anew. Balduq is located in the Gllia-Erdlingen region, northeast of Esterior. This massive metropolis, known as the "Prison City," serves as the stage for a new adventure as the "Monstrums," individuals with supernatural abilities, embark on a quest to uncover the mysteries hidden within its formidable prison.

This installment retains the signature characteristics of the "Ys" series, such as diverse skill attacks, high-speed action with free dashing and jumping, and intense, nail-biting battles against colossal bosses. Furthermore, "Ys IX" introduces new elements tailored to its setting, including "Monstrum Gifts"—special abilities that allow for free exploration of the field—and the ability to manage a guild within the Prison City!
