Bandai's premium adult-oriented Kamen Rider belt series, "COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION" (CSM), is celebrating its 30th release by revamping the highly popular Kamen Rider Decade transformation belt. The new "DECADRIVE Ver.2 & K-TOUCH" is slated for a March 2022 release.
Kamen Rider Decade is the Rider form taken by the young man "Kadoya Tsukasa" using the Decadriver belt. He possesses the ability to traverse various alternate and parallel worlds, unbound by their respective laws, earning him the moniker "Destroyer of Worlds." While Decade's inherent combat abilities might not be the most outstanding among Riders, his belt's functions are exceptionally powerful. Not only can he use Rider Cards to transform into any Rider seen thus far and gain their abilities, but he can even forcibly turn other Riders into his personal weapons. Later, with the enhancement item K-Touch and the Complete Card, he transforms into his upgraded "Complete Form," capable of simultaneously summoning the strongest forms of various Heisei Riders to unleash devastating finishing moves together.
Compared to the initial 2015 release, the "CSM Decadriver Ver.2" features completely revamped belt parts, with each section's sculpt now more accurately reflecting the props used in the show. The sound effects have also received a significant overhaul, including newly produced scanning sounds, re-tuned vocalizations for certain card names, and added unique effect sounds for each card. Furthermore, the set includes numerous in-show dialogue lines recorded by Masahiro Inoue, who portrays Kadoya Tsukasa, along with 12 background music tracks from the series.
While the previous version included 30 cards, the Ver.2 set comes packed with a generous 125 Rider Cards. Every card represents one that Decade owned or used in the series, and each triggers its own unique sound effect when scanned by the belt. It's important to note that these new cards are exclusively compatible with the "CSM Decadriver Ver.2" and "CSM K-Touch" products.
