The spy-comedy manga "SPY×FAMILY," created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuya Endo and serialized in Japan's "Shonen Jump+," recently announced an anime adaptation set to air in 2022. Now, BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectible toy division has unveiled three new additions to its "Figuarts mini" super-deformed figure series, featuring the main trio from the manga: Lloyd Forger, Anya Forger, and Yor Forger!
The Forger family consists of Lloyd Forger, a top-tier spy codenamed "Twilight"; Yor Forger, a formidable assassin codenamed "Thorn Princess"; and Anya Forger, a psychic girl formerly known as "Subject 007." On the surface, they appear to be a harmonious and peaceful family—a handsome dad, a beautiful mom, and an adorable daughter. However, each member harbors a secret identity, leading to a series of heartwarming and hilarious family moments that, despite being built on a foundation of lies, are filled with genuine emotion!
While detailed information for these new "SPY×FAMILY" Figuarts mini figures has yet to be released, based on previous products in the line, they are expected to stand around 9 cm tall. The figures will reinterpret the characters in a cute, 2-to-3 head tall chibi style, capturing their adorable expressions. The character features, distinct silhouettes, and costume details are all expected to be faithfully reproduced. We're eagerly awaiting the official announcement! On a personal note, our editor is really hoping Anya will be made just a tad shorter; it would make the trio look even more perfect together!
