Japanese company Aniplex is set to release a "Asuna Roomwear Ver." 1/7 scale figure based on the anime film "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night." Pre-orders are currently open on ANIPLEX+, with a suggested retail price of 15,400 JPY. The figure is expected to ship in July 2022.
The animated film "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night" is an adaptation of Volume 1 of Reki Kawahara's popular light novel series, "Sword Art Online Progressive." The movie premiered in Japan on October 30, 2021. It retells the thrilling journey of Asuna, the series' heroine, from her perspective, starting from the very beginning in Aincrad and chronicling her fateful encounter and battles with Kirito.
The Aniplex "Asuna Roomwear Ver." is a 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted complete figure, standing approximately 13 cm tall. It beautifully captures Asuna in a charming, seated pose, wearing delicate, sheer lingerie that subtly reveals her shoulders. The figure boasts a soft, lifelike skin tone, rosy cheeks, and a gentle smile, complemented by the alluring, translucent pink fabric of her outfit. The red and white color scheme of her lingerie is a clear nod to the iconic uniform of the Knights of the Blood Oath. Her outstretched hand, as if inviting, is incredibly captivating, and the inclusion of a shy, slightly open-mouthed alternate head sculpt adds an irresistibly charming touch!
