Good Smile Company, the renowned Japanese toy manufacturer, is set to release a Nendoroid figure of Crusch Karsten from the popular anime series "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World"! The figure is slated for a June 2022 release.
"Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) is a light novel series penned by Tappei Nagatsuki. The story follows protagonist Natsuki Subaru, who is inexplicably summoned to a fantasy world one day. With no idea how he got there, he's attacked by thugs, only to be rescued by a mysterious silver-haired beauty named Emilia and the cat spirit Puck. To repay his debt, Subaru volunteers to help Emilia find her stolen insignia. However, he's killed during the search, only to awaken back at an earlier point, realizing he possesses a unique ability called "Return by Death."
Crusch Karsten, striking in her military uniform and radiating a commanding aura, is a highly capable and exceptionally talented individual. She is the head of the Karsten Duchy and one of the 42nd candidates for the throne of the Kingdom of Lugnica. First appearing at the Royal Selection, she harbors doubts about the contract between Lugnica and the Dragon, declaring in her campaign speech that she will abolish the agreement upon ascending to the throne. While typically favoring a more neutral, masculine attire, she occasionally dons feminine dresses, showcasing her elegant figure. A master swordsman, her signature technique, the "Hundred Man Slayer," which combines swordplay with wind magic, is incredibly potent.
This Nendoroid rendition of Crusch faithfully recreates her cool military uniform look, complete with her signature green hair and a removable military cap. She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a standard expression, a smiling face, and a determined, competitive expression. As for accessories, in addition to her expertly wielded sword, a glass filled with wine is also included.
