Good Smile Company, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand unique figures, is expanding its "Naruto Shippuden" lineup. Following releases like Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi ANBU Ver., the company is now unveiling the latest addition: the Nendoroid Itachi Uchiha ANBU Ver. This figure will retail for 6,500 JPY and is slated for an August 2022 release.
Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha's older brother, was a prodigy among the Uchiha clan. He graduated from the Ninja Academy at age seven as the top student, awakened his Sharingan at eight, became a Chunin at ten, and was appointed ANBU squad captain of the Hidden Leaf Village by age thirteen. Despite his incredible talent, he later committed the infamous act of annihilating almost the entire Uchiha clan in a single night, sparing only his younger brother before leaving Konoha to become a rogue ninja and joining the Akatsuki.
Standing approximately 10 cm tall, the Nendoroid Itachi Uchiha ANBU Ver. perfectly captures Itachi in his ANBU days with the Nendoroid's signature chibi aesthetic. Key details include his distinctive tear trough lines, small ponytail, and a forehead protector featuring the complete Hidden Leaf Village symbol. The figure comes with two interchangeable face plates: a "standard face" and a "Sharingan face." Additional accessories include his sword, kunai, and an adorable ANBU mask.
