BANDAI SPIRITS' popular Figure-rise Standard model kit series, released by their Hobby Division, has announced its latest entry from the "ULTRAMAN" manga: the "ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO -ACTION-", slated for release in April 2022.
The ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO is a formidable reinforced armor crafted by the alien Yapool for Kotaro Higashi, drawing its design inspiration from Ultraman Taro. Kotaro, a photographer active in New York, gained superhuman abilities after taking a mysterious drug. He resolved to become a superhero to protect people, but an unforeseen accident led to the loss of a dear friend, awakening an unknown power: "Flame Mode." This reinforced suit not only allows Kotaro to consistently utilize his abilities but also helps suppress the uncontrolled nature of his "Flame Mode."
The "Figure-rise Standard ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO -ACTION-" meticulously recreates the mechanical details of the suit's armor through multi-color molding and highly segmented, precise parts. Adopting the "ACTION" specification, it features flexible articulation in the chest, waist, and limbs, allowing for dynamic posing. It can be displayed with various interchangeable hand parts and the original model kit weapon, the "Specium Lance," designed by original author Eiichi Shimizu. Furthermore, flame effect parts are included to replicate the arm-mounted flame projection ability.
Additionally, the chest includes non-ACTION specification replacement parts. When combined with a separately sold LED unit, both the eyes and the core chest area can be illuminated!
